While Windows provides basic built-in tools for Active Directory management, it lacks an enterprise-wide solution that will allow network administrators to manipulate bulk accounts at once. Transend ADministrator is a network administrator's solution for creating and managing multiple Active Directory accounts and Windows disk quotas. Its Windows wizard-driven interface is both intuitive and powerful, saving time and automating repetitive tasks.

Transend ADministrator allows you to create accounts, generate passwords, set account properties (including Terminal Server and Exchange properties), create Exchange mailboxes, create, share and set permissions on home folders. You can add a single user or thousands at time to a Windows 2000, 2003 or Windows Server 2008 Active Directory database.

Adding accounts is simply a matter of filling in the properties for the objects you are creating. Because most of these properties are the same for each user, you can save the settings so that the next time you create users you only have to provide their personal details either manually or by importing them. When you need to add a different type of user you can just load/edit the appropriate settings.
Setting properties for individual users, security groups or organizational units is easy to do. You can change the same property for a number of users quickly and easily via the wizard-driven interface, or alternatively you can prepare a file containing the usernames and properties that you want to modify and import it into Transend ADministrator.
Windows Disk Quotas can be managed by setting default quotas on a drive, query a user's current quota and usage, or set quotas for selected users and/or groups.
Deleting your accounts can be done one-by-one or many at a time in a matter of minutes. Depending on the options you choose you can delete accounts, profiles and home folders for each user. Transend ADministrator can also find stale user and computer accounts for you.

Transend ADministrator comes with an additional utility program called PWUtil that can be used to generate the same passwords that are generated when user accounts are created. This allows network administrators to manage user account default passwords or reset passwords to their default value.
