TRANSEND INTEGRATES WITH IBM TO PROVIDE EMAIL MIGRATION SOLUTION SPECIFICALLY DESIGNED FOR IBM LOTUS FOUNDATIONS OFFERING

Transend Migrator for IBM Lotus Foundations Migrates all Email Data from Virtually Any Messaging System to IBM Lotus Foundations.

PALO ALTO, CA - January 14, 2010 -- Transend Corporation, a leading provider of email migration and conversion solutions, today announced Transend Migrator for IBM Lotus Foundations, a special edition of Transend's award-winning email conversion utility. Transend Migrator for IBM Lotus Foundations is an easy-to-use client application for converting email data from any non-IBM email server or client to IBM Lotus Foundations Start and IBM Lotus Domino server.

Transend Migrator for IBM Lotus Foundations includes powerful "batch templates" which allow new  Lotus Foundations customers to migrate mailboxes from competitive products (like Microsoft Exchange/Outlook or Novell GroupWise) to Lotus Foundations, quickly and reliably.   Transend Migrator for IBM Lotus Foundations provides both an intuitive graphical user interface and a powerful command line batch processor for automating the migration of multiple mailboxes from a central location.  With Transend Migrator for IBM Lotus Foundations, users can migrate mailboxes to Lotus Foundations one-by-one, or in bulk.

IBM's Lotus Foundations Start helps SMBs, with limited in-house technical resources, focus on running their business rather than managing their computer systems. Lotus Foundations is designed to help SMB customers reliably and cost-effectively run their complete IT infrastructure - everything from email and collaboration to data back up and disaster recovery.

"Transend understands that IBM Lotus Foundations Business Partners need to deliver reliable and cost-effective IT solutions to their SMB customers," said Joshua Krefetz, Transend's VP, Business Development. "To enhance efficiency, we included "batch templates" that simplify the overall migration experience, while maintaining the same level of reliability and affordability that has helped Transend successfully migrate more than 10-million mailboxes over the last 10+ years."

Transend Migrator for IBM Lotus Foundations will be unveiled at Lotusphere, held January 17-21, 2010, in Orlando, Florida. Transend will be exhibiting in room Europe 11 - the SMB Solutions Lab. Transend will demonstrate an Outlook/Exchange to Lotus Foundations migration on Tuesday, January 19 from 10am to 11am (EST) in classroom Europe 10.

Transend Migrator for IBM Lotus Foundations is licensed solely for the conversion of email data (messages, address books, calendars, tasks and archives) to Lotus Foundations.
