Certification Confirms Highest Industry Standards for Reliability and Security.
Palo Alto, CA – May 15, 2007 – Transend Corporation announced that Transend Migrator 6.0 has passed Microsoft’s rigorous testing program to earn the coveted “Certified for Windows Vista” logo designation. Transend Migrator is one of the first email migration and conversion utilities to have earned Windows Vista certification.

The "Certified for Windows Vista" logo is a compatibility designation for applications and devices that have passed a rigorous testing program on computers that are running Windows Vista. The technical requirements for this designation target four core areas: reliability, security, compatibility with Windows Vista and future operating systems, and installation and removal. The testing program was designed by Microsoft to improve the experience of customers using applications in enterprise environments. It establishes a technical standard to verify that third-party business-critical applications are secure, manageable, and reliable when running on Windows Vista.The Certified for Windows Vista logo assures customers that Transend Migrator 6.0 and Transend Migrator 6.0 Forensic Edition will seamlessly integrate with and take advantage of the enhanced security, manageability and productivity features within the new operating platform.
With support for Windows Vista 32bit and 64bit editions, as well as Windows XP and earlier versions of Windows, the new offering demonstrates further Transend’s commitment to helping customers ease their migration to new email platforms, including Microsoft Exchange 2007 and Outlook 2007 (as well as earlier versions of Exchange and Outlook).
