TRANSEND AND FEDEX INK WORLDWIDE SOFTWARE LICENSE AGREEMENT

Transend Migrator to be Used by FedEx for All Email Migrations Throughout the Enterprise Worldwide

Palo Alto, CA -- July 18, 2006 -- Transend Corporation announced today that it has entered into an enterprise software licensing agreement with FedEx (NYSE: FDX) for its Transend Migrator email conversion software. FedEx will be using Transend Migrator at it's locations worldwide to convert email data from various legacy email systems to Microsoft Exchange. FedEx entities around the globe currently have in place a mix of Sun ONE (iPlanet)/Netscape/IMAP servers and Lotus Domino/Notes environments.

"Transend Migrator is ideally suited for this ambitious email migration project in that this one conversion utility supports all the varied email environments at FedEx," according to Fred Krefetz, president of Transend Corporation. "We began working with FedEx in late 2004 and after four months of extensive testing and evaluation Transend Migrator was approved by the FedEx standards committee to be used for all email migrations throughout the enterprise worldwide."

According to Ken Doby, one of the principle personnel that manage email at FedEx, "Approval by our standards committee is huge and very hard to get. Even Microsoft is not approved by the standards committee. Among the factors that went in Transend's favor is its willingness and ability to be flexible--tweaking the product to meet the needs of FedEx's particular environments--and that Transend Migrator supports a wide variety of email systems."

FedEx began using Transend Migrator in early 2005 for production migrations at its headquarters in Memphis, Tennessee. The product is being rolled out as migrations are scheduled in various regions around the world.
